About the Role
JL Connects is seeking a results-driven Senior Benefits Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing employee benefits programs, communicating with clients and stakeholders, and staying up-to-date on industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement employee benefits programs, including health, vision, dental, STD, LTD, and 401(k) plans.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Collaborate with HR contacts to develop and implement benefit strategies that meet business objectives.
- Manage and resolve complex employee-level issues and provide exceptional customer service.
- Develop and deliver training programs to HR contacts on Employee Navigator and other Benefit Administration platforms.
- Host annual Open Enrollment sessions and develop engaging and impactful presentations.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and federal laws that impact employee benefits.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Active license in Life and Health.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the employee benefits industry/insurance world.
- Talent for developing and nurturing positive relationships.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Public speaking and presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of insurance carriers and employee benefits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
