This position involves working independently as well as part of a caregiving team, reporting to a Registered Nurse and supervising other aides. Responsibilities
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Provide personal hygiene and mobility assistance to patients
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Respond promptly to emergencies and take appropriate actions
- Manage daily schedules and care routines
- Supervise other caregiving aides as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ caregiving experience
- Certification as a Medication Technician or Nursing Assistant
- Valid Medication Technician Certification
- State-issued identification
- Up-to-date TB test and Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) vaccine
- Strong skills in medication administration, patient care, and vital signs monitoring
- Excellent record-keeping and communication abilities
- Proven emergency response capability and time management skills
- Demonstrated empathy, teamwork, and problem-solving aptitude
