This is a PHYSICAL job as you will be climbing ladders, going into attics, carrying equipment (50lbs and under) and reaching above your head to reach ceilings of different heights.
Responsibilities:
- You will be inspecting residential homes/units for compliance with different energy programs and building codes using specialized equipment.
- Conduct field inspections to collect data and ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.
- Review and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to verify accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to provide updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns.
- Document findings and observations during inspections, including measurements, photographs, and detailed notes.
- Generate reports utilizing company provided iPads to send to construction managers
- Hold trades training and other informational meetings
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance
Requirements:
- CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN THE PHOENIX METROPOLITAN AREA (Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler)!!!
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify errors or discrepancies and troubleshoot with basic computer knowledge needed with proficiency in math, spreadsheets and data entry.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with various positions. English is required but Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation that can house equipment and ladder.
You will use your own car for travel (mileage is reimbursed plus maintenance allowance)
