Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing in designated neighborhoods to introduce our programs and initiatives.
- Engage in friendly, face-to-face conversations with community members to inform and educate them about our mission.
- Build rapport through conversational engagement, active listening, and effective communication skills.
- Navigate outdoor environments confidently, walking door-to-door for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Use negotiation techniques to address questions or concerns from community members while maintaining a positive attitude.
Experience
- Prior field sales or canvassing experience is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- Experience in marketing or community outreach programs is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are preferred to effectively communicate with a broader range of community members.
- Demonstrated outdoor work experience, including walking extensively and working independently.
- Supervising experience or leadership roles are beneficial for those interested in growth opportunities within outreach teams.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, especially face-to-face interaction and conversational engagement.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
