Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Field Services Engineer based in Mount Vernon, IL. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing routine preventive maintenance on IT systems, and providing hands-on support for technical and hardware-related concerns. The engineer will work directly with clients, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions to their IT needs while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Field Service operations, including on-site equipment installation and maintenance
- Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for resolving hardware and software issues
- Experience in performing Preventive Maintenance to ensure system reliability
- Effective Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate solutions clearly and professionally
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize effectively
- Experience with IT systems and hardware is a strong advantage
- Technical certifications, such as CompTIA A , Network , or equivalent, are preferred NOT required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required
