We are partnering with a premier, rapidly growing commercial facility services company specializing in industrial loading docks, commercial doors, and entrance automation systems.
We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Field Service Technician for our West Springfield, MA branch. We are fully open to training an ambitious apprentice with a strong mechanical foundation, as well as hiring an experienced commercial dock and door veteran.
If you are an apprentice or general mechanic, you will be paired directly with a Senior Lead Technician in a fully stocked service vehicle, learning the specialized trade of heavy mechanical installations, hydraulic dock repairs, and low-voltage operator troubleshooting with a clear path to running your own truck.

Mechanical Repair & Maintenance: Assist in troubleshooting, servicing, and installing commercial overhead doors, high-speed roll-up doors, hydraulic/mechanical dock levelers, and vehicle restraint systems.
Hands-On Trade Learning: Master motor operator diagnostics, low-voltage control wiring, spring tensioning, track alignment, and hydraulic loop repairs.

Technical & Physical Requirements:
Mechanical Baseline: Comfortable using basic hand and power tools (socket sets, wrenches, impact drivers, angle grinders). Experience in automotive mechanics, equipment repair, general construction, HVAC, or residential garage doors is a plus. (Basic welding aptitude is a plus, but this is a mobile field service role, not a stationary welding job).
Comfort at Heights: Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and scissor/boom lifts.
Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs on active jobsites in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
Logistics: Valid drivers license with a relatively clean driving record; ability to pass a standard background check.
Pay Rate: $20.00 $30.00/hour (commensurate with mechanical and industry experience) strong overtime potential
