Experienced Bartender

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using established recipes and techniques.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions seamlessly using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to food safety and alcohol service regulations.
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other essentials.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets or catering functions to ensure smooth service flow.
• Uphold food handling standards and safety protocols at all times, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple guests efficiently without sacrificing quality.
• Assist in training new team members on beverage preparation, POS systems, and customer service standards.

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls.
• Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Experience with retail math for cash handling and sales tracking.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Familiarity with food industry terminology including catering, food handling, and beverage brewing processes.
• Prior retail math experience for accurate cash handling and sales reconciliation.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly demeanor to engage diverse guests effectively.
• Knowledge of serving techniques specific to the hospitality industry including fine dining etiquette and nightclub dynamics. Pay: $23.39 - $28.17 per hour
