We are seeking the best talent: CNC Manufacturing Technician II, Orthopedics. Summary: Support engineering and operations staff in set-up, operation and troubleshooting of machining, finishing, cleaning and packaging equipment. Ensures appropriate records are maintained. Execution of validation runs on various equipment to support qualification of new equipment installation, process improvements and cost reduction activities. This position supports the Orthopedics platform within J&J MedTech in manufacturing of orthopedic implants used in knee, hip and shoulder joint arthroplasty. Key Responsibilities: In accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as Johnson & Johnson corporate procedures and guidelines, this position: Duties & Responsibilities: ·Operates and sets up manufacturing equipment which may include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems. ·Assists with the installation, setups, and changeovers of CNC machinery. ·Tests and adjustments as needed. ·Assists in the implementation of process improvements. ·Assists with trouble report preparation for malfunctioning equipment. ·Reads and interprets product technical drawings and conducts product inspection using common mechanical inspection equipment ·Works with MRO and partner functions on to identify tooling and consumables in accordance with department procedures. ·Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level ·Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable. ·Responsible for ensuring personnel and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures ·Performs other duties assigned as needed Experience & Education · Technical Certificate ·At least 3 years of work experience in manufacturing enviroment .English B1, Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish across functions and both internally/externally. Required, Knowledge, skills, abilities, certifications/licenses and affiliations. Required: Ability to learn and adhere to specific procedures according to the department training plan Basic Computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Website navigation required. Able to work in a Clean Room environment requiring gowning. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to support cross functional teams including Quality, Operations & Engineering. At least 3 years of experience in CNC machining, lathe, milling. Preferred Training in machining, laser marking, metal finishing, cleaning or packaging operations. Training in machining operations and/or electrical/electronic.
