Duties
- Assist the Manager in daily operations and staff management.
- Provide leadership and guidance to employees, fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct employee orientation and training programs to ensure all staff are well-prepared for their roles.
- Oversee cash register operations, including handling transactions and ensuring accurate pricing.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and conducting regular stock checks.
- Implement effective time management strategies to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Participate in interviewing potential candidates to build a strong team.
- Maintain high standards of phone etiquette when interacting with customers and vendors.
- Assist in budgeting processes to help maintain financial health of the business.
- Rotate weekends with the Manager
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent leadership qualities with a focus on employee development.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Must be willing to take a hair follicle drug screen
