Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and package food orders with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Manage cash register operations, processing cash transactions, credit card payments, and handling change efficiently.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene standards throughout your shift.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and assist in basic food preparation when needed to support kitchen staff.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, and order status promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Food handling and safety management knowledge are essential to ensure compliance with sanitation standards.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Background in food service customer order management, cashiering, and retail sales transactions is beneficial.
- Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a café or grocery store setting will be considered a plus.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a positive attitude to deliver memorable guest experiences.
