We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our sales team in a fast-paced crane and heavy equipment business. The ideal candidate will assist with administrative tasks, customer communication, order processing, and sales coordination to ensure a smooth sales process and high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist sales representatives with preparing quotations, proposals, sales documents, and research
- Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and provide product and service information
- Maintain and update CRM systems with customer data, sales activities, and order status
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of equipment
- Track inventory and availability of cranes and accessories
- Follow up with clients regarding quotes, contracts, and ongoing projects
- Support marketing efforts such as preparing brochures, presentations, and sales materials
- Provide general administrative support to the sales department
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a sales support, customer service, or administrative role (experience in construction or heavy equipment industry preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of cranes, lifting equipment, or construction machinery is a plus
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
