Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the office for the day and assist front lead
- Answer phones and return patient voicemails
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Room patients, take vitals, document medical histories
- Sterilize and prepare equipment for procedures
- Perform patient procedures and assist with medication reconciliation
- Dispense and document medications, injections, and immunizations
- Maintain and update patient records using Epic EMR
- Complete provider orders and coordinate follow-up appointments
- Fax imaging orders and provide copies to patients
- Assist with medical inventory and notify front lead of supply needs
- Help train new hires and maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Complete all tasks assigned and check out with the front lead daily
Required:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in a clinical or patient service setting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Solid computer skills (Epic and Microsoft Teams experience preferred)
- Ability to work well in a team and handle multitasking
- Competitive Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour
