Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with the ability to work on various vehicle systems. This position requires knowlege of custom builds from hotrods to new fleet builds. Aftermarket accessories and custom builds are our spcialty. This position requires proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment, as well as a solid understanding of automotive electrical systems and powertrain components. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
- Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues and conduct repairs.
- Conduct auto estimating for repair costs and parts needed for service.
- Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, and alternators.
- Work on powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and differentials.
- Execute diesel engine repairs when necessary, adhering to industry standards.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive service techniques and repair procedures.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Certification from an accredited automotive program is preferred but not mandatory.
