Job Description:

The Senior National Account Manager (SNAM) for Pet Specialty is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives. This role requires deep expertise in account management, sales strategy, and customer relationship building. The SNAM will act as the primary point of contact, fostering strong partnerships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the successful implementation of promotional and marketing initiatives within these accounts.

Location: Bentonville, AR (NWA area)

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:

·       Own the Walmart P&L, forecasting, annual planning, and long-term strategy.

·       Lead Joint Business Plan (JBP) development and execution, delivering mutual growth for Walmart and Jinx.

·       Manage item setup, pricing, promotions, supply, and all day-to-day operations for Walmart brick-and-mortar and Walmart.com.

·       Drive distribution gains, in-store execution, and new product launches.

·       Collaborate with Walmart partners across buying, replenishment, category, and e-commerce teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

·       Work closely with Marketing and Creative on omnichannel activation, content optimization, digital shelf enhancements, and retail media (Walmart Connect).

·       Partner with Finance to manage trade spend, customer profitability, and overall account health.

·       Collaborate with Product & Innovation to identify opportunities for assortment expansion.

Relationship Building:

·       Serve as the primary point of contact for Walmart, championing Jinx’s brand and vision.

·       Build trust-based relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.

·       Represent Jinx at line reviews, customer meetings, trade shows, and category events.

Qualifications:

·       Education: Bachelor’s degree required

·       6 years of experience in CPG account management with direct responsibility for Walmart

·       Deep understanding of Walmart systems including Retail Link, Luminate, Replenishment, and Walmart Connect.

·       Proven ability to grow accounts, deliver P&L results, and manage complex retail programs.

·       Strong analytical skills—comfortable with data pulls, forecasting, and KPI dashboards.

·       Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.

·       Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
