Optical Lab Technician

Position Overview:

• Location: Venice, CA 90291
• Start Date: Immediate
• Salary: $20.00/hour
• Employment Type: Full-time, Non-exempt

Essential Job Functions:

• Process in-store orders.
• Manufacture eyeglass production tasks such as blocking, edging, and quality control.
• Coordinate shipments and returns with the warehouse.
• Data entry.
• Machine maintenance.
• Inventory management.

Qualifications:

• Over 12 months experience in the optical industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D).
• Authorized to work legally in the United States.
• Knowledge in using blocking and edging machines and lensometers and performing quality control.
• Machine calibration experience preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Excel and computer skills preferred.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed
