Description:
Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery is looking for dependable and motivated Production Associates – Packers to join our production team. In this role, you will help package finished products, ensure quality standards are met, and support daily production operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
- Pack products according to company specifications and customer requirements
- Inspect products for quality and remove any items that do not meet standards
- Ensure the correct labels are applied to cartons and verify label accuracy
- Keep packaging equipment supplied with boxes and bag stock
- Monitor and operate packaging equipment, including box erectors, label applicators, case sealers, and palletizers
- Assist with basic equipment troubleshooting and clearing minor jams
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and company policies
- Assist with sanitation of production areas and equipment
- Wrap pallets manually when required
- Support production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or machine operator experience preferred
- Food manufacturing experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Ability to push and pull heavy objects as needed
