Work Hours: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (may vary)

Position Overview

As a Packaging Team Member at Jimmy's Salad Dressing & Dips, you will play a key role in the production and packaging of high-quality food products. You will work collaboratively within a team to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations across various stages of the production process, from ingredient preparation to final packaging. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety standards, and a commitment to ensuring the highest quality product is produced.

Production Responsibilities

• Production Line Operations: Operate and maintain equipment used in food processing and packaging.
• Quality Control: Monitor the quality of raw materials and finished products, ensuring they meet established specifications and safety standards.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Report any hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
• Packaging and Labeling: Ensure products are properly packaged and labeled, ready for shipment or storage.
• Inventory Management: Assist in inventory checks and maintain accurate records of materials used and products produced.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure production goals are met.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in training, share insights, and suggest improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Cross Training: Crosstrain in multiple areas of production to support flexibility and operational needs.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform additional implied tasks as directed by supervisors to support overall production objectives.

Experience & Skills

Experience

• Prior experience in food manufacturing or production environments is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Skills

• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and recipes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods throughout the shift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.

Work Environment

• Jimmy's work environment is a food manufacturing facility with varying temperatures, noise levels, and safety protocols.
• Protective gear, including uniforms, hairnets, and safety footwear, are required and provided by Jimmy's.

Schedule & Hours

• Typical shifts are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM.
• End times may vary based on production needs, with occasional overtime required during peak seasons.
• No weekends required under standard scheduling.
