Sous Chef- Minnetonka

NOTE: The Executive Sous Chef position requires a person with excellent cooking/expo skills in the event there is a need to assist on the line.

The sous chef position salary range is $74,000 to $78,000, plus up to $7,500 bonus potential.

We are currently looking for a well qualified Executive Sous Chef for our restaurant operation. Ideal candidates should have experience in working in a busy scratch restaurant kitchen and have a desire to work hands-on.

· Salary: $74,000 to $78,000 Depending upon experience, plus quarterly bonuses up to $7,500 annually

The Sous Chef’s responsibilities includes working hand in hand with the Executive Chef to:

· Creating daily/weekly specials and menu development

· Setting the standard and maintaining consistent and high-quality food

· Maintaining high performance standards with the kitchen staff

· Ensure that all recipes are adhered to for preparation and creation of entrees

· Be able to supervise and lead your employees while maintaining a positive work environment.

· Have a desire to work hands-on in a fast paced environment

· Have experience in controlling costs, including food cost and labor cost
