Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Assist with food handling, prep, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or nightclub setting
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, and restaurant promotions to enhance guest engagement
- Uphold all food industry standards for sanitation, safety, and proper food handling practices
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Experience in serving, bussing tables, or host/hostess roles is beneficial
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation enhances your ability to assist guests confidently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order accuracy are essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
