Project manager/Estimator

Jimmy Pittman Electrical is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to work in our home office in Clewiston, FL. The Project Manager/Estimator will work directly with the Senior Project Manager and President to facilitate accurate estimates on residential and commercial electrical projects as well as engaging in the project management of those awarded projects and jobs. · Minimum of 4 years field experience in commercial electrical construction

· Minimum of 2 years Project Management/Estimating experience preferred

· Must have valid driver’s license

· Must provide own transportation

· Must be dependable with a good work ethic- honesty, loyalty and integrity

· Must be organized and detail oriented

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment, both individually and as a team

· Must have High School diploma or GED

· Carded Journeyman or Master a plus, but not required

· Must be proficient in basic Microsoft Office programs; Word and Excel

· Must be able to pass drug test and criminal background check

· Bilingual- English/Spanish a plus, but not required, must speak English

Job duties to include, but not limited to:

· Accurately perform take offs from blueprints; lighting counts, switchgear, feeders, branch circuit, trim for residential and commercial electrical projects

· Review specifications and ensure all requirements are met during take off such as material type, minimum sizes and all special system and sub vendor requirements

· Review vendor quotations for accuracy and counts

· Accurately insert take off data into bidding programs for final computations

· Create estimates including inclusions and exclusions to the estimate

· Visit local service work order jobs and create estimate take off lists for estimates and material lists for awarded projects.

· Review submittal data and create submittals for awarded JPE projects

· Attend job site and customer meetings as needed

· Monitor material, labor and rental equipment on JPE awarded jobs to ensure estimated budgets are met

**All above duties will be performed and monitored in conjunction with the Senior Project Manager/Estimator and President.

Compensation is competitive, negotiable and based on experience, $40K to $75K plus/annually.
