We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Powersports and Marine team. In this vital role, you will serve as one of the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance options, including auto estimating and service writing
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repair, transmissions, suspension, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and more.
- Upsell additional services by highlighting benefits aligned with customer needs while maintaining transparency about costs and procedures
- Manage cash handling transactions accurately and maintain detailed service records
- Communicate effectively with customers throughout the repair process, providing updates and explaining technical issues in understandable terms
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering professional, energetic service that builds trust and loyalty
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or extensive auto service management background
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining integrity
- Familiarity with repair processes such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and suspension work
- Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly and maintain organized records
- Sales experience within a dealership environment is highly desirable
