Shift Supervisor

As a Shift Supervisor, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that our store runs smoothly, our team works together seamlessly, and customers receive top-notch service.

Competitive Pay

Start your training at $14.50/hour ($16.50 with tips), and once you’re fully trained and able to run your own shift, your base pay will increase to $15/hour ($17 with tips). This store pools its in-shop tips, and historically, crew members earn an additional $2-$3 per hour through tips. As you grow in the role, you'll also receive performance-based raises, increasing your pay as you gain more experience and take on more responsibility within the company.

Your Role

As a Shift Supervisor (PIC), you'll be in charge of overseeing all aspects of store operations during your shift. From ensuring that the store is in excellent condition to making sure your team provides exceptional customer service, your leadership will make a big impact. You’ll lead by example, maintaining 100% integrity and executing procedures efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and support a team of crew members to ensure they’re delivering quality food and service.
• Take responsibility for opening and closing the store, cash management, and inventory control.
• Train new team members and help them develop the skills needed to succeed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards to ensure an excellent store environment.
• Foster a positive work culture with a focus on teamwork, efficiency, and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Training Program

We provide a comprehensive training program to set you up for success. Training lasts 4-6 weeks depending on experience, where you’ll learn the ins and outs of our recipes, procedures, and service expectations. You’ll start as a Shift Supervisor-in-training, earning $14.50 per hour during this time. Once you’re ready to manage a solo shift, you’ll transition into the full Shift Supervisor which starts at $15 per hour and increases as you develop in the position. Growth is determined by merit and skill —the sooner you grow in your position, the more you can earn, with in-store tips adding to your hourly rate.

Requirements:

• Responsible for leading customer product and service standards by example

• Foster an environment of team work, teach and train new employees

• Responsible for delivering an exceptional customer and store experience

• Must be able to perform, teach and train all aspects of InShopper and Delivery Driver job descriptions

• Greet and thank every customer with a smile and eye contact

• Execute quality store operations

• Clean store, small wares, merchandise and physical plant as necessary

• Must be able to operate food preparation machinery

• Adhere to all food, safety and security guidelines

• Assists with new employee training

• Must be able to operate cash register and handle cash transactions while adhering to all cash handling policies

• Must learn basic operations of POS System, and Microsoft Office programs

Additional Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts

• Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shift

• Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F
