What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Team Member position at Jimmy John's?
Jimmy John's is looking to add some Freaky Fast Crew Members to our team! If you have a love for serving customers and love to work in a fast paced environment, then Jimmy John's is a great part time job for you! Requirements are a positive attitude and the ability to work as a part of a team. We will train on all the proper procedures within the store and we love to promote from within!
Positions start at $13.25 plus tips during training and $13.50 once completed! Pay will continue to grow with you as you develop your JJ skills and we offer a clear path to move up within the company.
Additional Requirements:
• Must be energetic and support a positive work environment
• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shift
• Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F
Essential Functions include:
- Makes fast, accurate and consistent sandwiches
- Complies with all portion sizes, recipes, and all systems and procedures.
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including lobby area, restrooms, kitchen, etc.
- Greets customers and takes orders – operates cash register – collects payment from customer and makes change.
- Executes blow away greetings and farewells
- Takes phone orders and completes delivery tickets
- Fills out systems and procedures with 100% accuracy and integrity
- Maintains professional appearance at all times in compliance with the Jimmy John’s Dress Code
- Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments
- Performs other related duties as required
