Calling all Go-Getters.
As a Manager Trainee, you are on your way to be a Certified Manager. The role is full time and will require both opening (6a-3p) and closing (3p-11p) availability. We are a growing organization and there is an excellent opportunity for advancement.
To qualify for this rockstar opportunity, you are eligible to work in the U.S. and meet the age requirements and experience outlined within the application.
Certification.
In order to become a certified manager, you must get 'certified' and that's what this role is designed for. After 3 months of online and in store training you will be eligible for a 1 week certification process in a local store. This would include one virtual session and 5 in store, where you prove that you have mastered the skills it takes to be come a Jimmy John's Sandwich Master.

Responsibilities:
- Assists in managing a staff of approximately 20 employees, including hiring, training, evaluating and discipline.
- Forecasts daily usage of food items per shift, which requires some fundamental math skills.
- Performs daily duties, including slicing meats, prepping veggies and baking bread.
- Implement and audit Jimmy John’s policies, systems and procedures.
- Completes necessary paperwork on a daily, weekly and periodic basis.
- Manages cash drawers, bank deposits and change.
- Participate in marketing and promotional activities.
- Oversees and assists in providing great customer service to all.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have good communication skills, both with customers as well as staff.
- Needs strong math ability, particularly in addition, subtraction, fractions and percentages.
- Experience with basic usage of a personal computer.
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Valid Drivers License and Insurance.
- Reliable Transportation.
- Some restaurant experience preferred.
