What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Manager position at Jimmy John's?
This is a story about growing up but never getting old.
Since day-one when our founder, Jimmy, opened his first Jimmy John’s sandwich shop, we’ve had the determination and badassery to settle for nothing less than the best. We are in early every morning baking fresh bread and slicing vegetables, and we’re not afraid to have a little (or a lot) of fun along the way. We succeed together as a family because let’s be honest, nobody can compete with the Rockstars of Jimmy John’s.
Calling all Go-Getters.
As a Certified Manager, you will be the right hand to the General Manager. The role is full time and will require both opening (6a-3p) and closing (3p-11p) availability. We are a growing organization and there is an excellent opportunity for advancement.
To qualify for this rockstar opportunity, you are eligible to work in the U.S. and meet the age requirements and experience outlined within the application.
Certification.
In order to become a certified manager, you must get 'certified'. If you have previous Jimmy John's experience (more that three months in a leadership position, such as PIC or Asst. Manager) you may qualify for a local 1 week training program. If you have not had any JJ's experience than training consists of a 3 week onsite program out of state, with approximately 1 week of online training prior to traveling the onsite.
