Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches and other food items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, grills, ovens, and food prep tools
• Manage customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely service
• Handle cash register operations, process transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with precision
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following proper sanitation and food safety procedures
• Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Support food safety management practices by adhering to sanitation protocols, proper food handling, and storage guidelines

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation within quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining a clean workspace
• Prior experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
