Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow during all shifts
• Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives
• Manage food preparation processes to uphold quality standards and safety regulations
• Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver excellent customer service and hospitality
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Control inventory levels, monitor food safety practices, and manage food handling procedures
• Assist with shift management, scheduling staff, and ensuring adequate coverage during busy periods
• Support management in budgeting, cost control, and maintaining operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation protocols
• Participate in interviewing prospective employees and contribute to staff hiring decisions

Requirements

• Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service or fast food environments
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, training & development skills
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
• Ability to oversee food safety standards and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
• Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes
• Prior casual dining or fine dining experience is highly desirable; banquet or catering background is a plus
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
