Job Summary

Duties
- Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and support during their shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
- Assist in merchandising products to create appealing displays that attract customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
- Maintain well-stocked shelves and assist with inventory management, including stocking and organizing merchandise.
- Utilize effective upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, leveraging any supervising experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with store policies.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
