Duties
- Greet visitors and members warmly, establishing a friendly and professional first impression.
- General cleaning of gym facilities and equipment.
- Manage front desk operations including answering phones with excellent phone etiquette, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries.
- Conduct gym tours and sell memberships or retail items.
- Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining an organized retail space to promote products effectively.
- Supervise or assist with team members when needed, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent customer service standards.
- Promote membership benefits through engaging communication and product demonstrations to increase sales.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles is highly preferred.
- General knowledge and interest in fitness and wellness.
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in managing team tasks or training new staff.
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail transactions.
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening, are critical for success in this role.
