Delivery & Operations Associate

Jim Wilson Interiors and Homescapes are seeking a dependable, professional, and detail-oriented individual to fill a crossover role supporting both companies. This position plays a critical role in delivering and installing high-end furniture in clients’ homes while also assisting with daily store and warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate is clean-cut, well-mannered, calm under pressure, and naturally helpful. They take pride in their work, interact respectfully with clients, and are comfortable problem-solving on the spot to ensure an exceptional delivery and in-home experience.

Key Responsibilities

Furniture Delivery & Installation

• Safely drive and operate company delivery truck
• Execute white-glove deliveries of premium furnishings, ensuring flawless handling from truck to final placement
• Assist with unloading, placement, and assembly of furniture as needed
• Protect clients’ homes during deliveries (floors, walls, doorways, etc.)
• Represent both brands positively while interacting with clients
• Travel for deliveries, including occasional longer trips (as far as Chicago and St. Louis)

Physical & Technical Requirements

• Lift, carry, and maneuver heavy furniture pieces safely
• Assemble furniture and install items when required
• Use basic hand tools and follow assembly instructions accurately

Store & Warehouse Support

• Assist with general store operations and “odd and end” tasks as needed
• Hang artwork and assist with showroom setup and resets
• Maintain stockroom organization and cleanliness
• Support general maintenance & janitorial tasks, including:

Cleaning bathrooms
Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
Cleaning windows
Keeping work and storage areas tidy and functional (including the truck)

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift heavy furniture and perform physical labor
• Ability to assemble furniture
• Ability to hang/install artwork
• Willingness to travel for deliveries, including occasional long-distance trips
• Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of tasks across both companies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
