This is a full-time, on-site role for a Math/Business Teacher located in Jim Thorpe, PA. The Math/Business Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing lesson plans to educate students in mathematics and business concepts, evaluating student progress through assignments and assessments, and providing individual support to address diverse learning needs. Additionally, the teacher will foster a collaborative and engaging classroom environment, maintain communication with students, parents, and staff, and participate actively in curriculum development and school activities.
- Proficiency in teaching concepts related to Mathematics and Business, including Economics
- Strong skills in developing effective Lesson Planning and delivering engaging educational content
- Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Education qualifications, such as a degree in Education, Mathematics, Business, or a related field
- State teaching certification or eligibility to obtain one
- Passion for fostering student growth and a commitment to their academic success
- Prior teaching or educational experience in a school setting is a plus
