Jim's Golf Cars is hiring for a Service Advisor!
What You Will Do
As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact between our customers, service technicians, and service management team. You will help ensure a smooth, professional, and positive service experience from initial customer contact through repair completion.
- Customer Service & Intake: Greet customers, answer phone inquiries, assist with scheduling, and provide general information regarding service availability and standard repair pricing.
- Vehicle Check-In & Documentation
- Maintenance Recommendations
- Communication & Estimates: Explain technician findings and recommended repairs in clear, customer-friendly language.
- Workflow Coordination: Dispatch repair orders to the appropriate technicians
- Customer Updates: Provide timely updates regarding repair progress, delays, estimated completion times, and final invoice amounts.
- Service Coordination: Work closely with the Mobile Service, Logistics, and Rental Teams to coordinate vehicle pickup and delivery, mobile service appointments, and rental arrangements.
- Customer Experience: Build customer trust through professional communication, accurate documentation, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality service.
What You Will Need
- Previous customer service, automotive service, dealership, or repair shop experience preferred.
- Automotive Service Advisor experience is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, automotive parts, and labor estimates preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Excellent customer service, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn service management, scheduling, and estimating systems.
- Ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, service management, and other departments.
- Valid driver's license required if vehicle movement is part of the position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
