Looking for a highly skilled automotive painter to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience in all aspects of automotive painting, from preparation to final color applications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling in cracks and dents, and sanding surfaces
- Mask and tape surfaces not to be painted
- Apply primer and paint using spray guns and/or brushes
- Blend and mix paint to match original colors and finishes
- Repair and touch-up paint imperfections such as scratches and chips
- Communicate with other members of the team to ensure the quality and consistency of the work
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of different types of paint, equipment, and techniques used in automotive painting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, schematics, and diagrams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
