Jim’s Auto Installations & Detailing Center is the premier detailing company in Essex County serving the region for over 40 years. We're seeking a detail-oriented Auto Detailer to join our team! Minimum 1 year detailing experience.

We offer a wide range of services to catering to every demographic. Our passion for the art of detailing is reflected in the impeccable finish of each and every vehicle we service. We demonstrate daily why our quality workmanship, customer service, and communication are unrivaled. Positions will be based on experience. We have a Reconditioning and Detailing position available which includes but is not limited to polishing, buffing, carpet cleaning, vacuuming and interior detailing. We stand out in Essex County as being the preferred detailing location.

**Responsibilities:**

· Thoroughly clean and detail vehicles inside and out.

· Vacuum, shampoo, and sanitize interiors.

· Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests.

· Perform polishing, waxing, and other paint-related tasks.

· Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.

· Inspect vehicles for defects and report any issues.

· Apply dressing on tires & tire wells.

· Clean interior & exterior windows.

· Keep a clean and safe work area.

· Operate all tools in a safe manner.

· Inspect the finished product.

· Clean and detail vehicles to meet customer specifications and satisfaction.

**Requirements:**

· Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

· Ability to work efficiently in a semi fast-paced environment.

· Positive attitude and team work ethics Ability to follow directions.

· Working well with others and taking directions and constructive criticism from management.

· A reliable individual with a strong work ethic

· Can work independently and on a team

· 1-2 years experience

· High sense of urgency and can manage time to ensure efficiency.

· Punctuality is a must! must be able to work within a set time frame on a regular basis no exceptions.

· Reliable transportation!

To excel in this role you should be physically capable of manual labor and have the ability deliver quality work with minimal supervision once properly trained.

Pay is based on hourly wage PLUS tips and performance
