Job Description:As a Parts Counterman, you’ll be the point of contact for our Technicians and parts customers, ensuring they receive accurate parts, timely service, and exceptional support. Your role is key in maintaining relationships with technicians, body shops, repair shops, and other wholesale clients.
Responsibilities:
Assist customers in identifying and ordering the correct parts.
Process orders quickly and accurately through our parts system.
Provide quotes and availability information to customers via phone, email, or in person.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Toyota parts and accessory offerings.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Coordinate with the shipping/receiving team to ensure timely deliveries.
Work closely with the parts manager to meet department goals.
Requirements:
Prior experience as a wholesale or retail parts counter person (Toyota or other dealership experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
Familiarity with parts cataloging systems (Reynolds & Reynolds or similar).
High school diploma or equivalent.

The physical requirements of the position are LIGHT to MEDIUM in intensity.
Must be able to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.
Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable necessary to drive vehicles safely.
Constant - Reaching, sitting, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing.
Frequent - Repetitive motion.
Occasional - Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
Physical Working Conditions
This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards as electrical, mechanical, and cleaning equipment, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with operation an auto dealership.
