What are the responsibilities and job description for the Garden Center Yard Laborer position at Jim Melka Garden Center?
Garden Center Yard Laborer (full or part-time) positions are available in our Garden Center Department. Positions entail receiving, displaying, maintaining, and selling a wide variety of plant material and other products. Also includes loading products for customers and working with other colleagues to ensure the integrity of the property.
· Must be friendly, patient, have a strong work ethic and communication skills
· Must be able to multi-take, have good short term memory skills to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
· Have a desire to improve your work performance and move up in a family owned company.
· Eager to work with the general public and contractors in a retail and wholesale sales environment
· Must be able to handle flexible hours, outdoor and physical work.
