Trailer Sales Professional

We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated, and experienced Truck or Trailer Sales Professional to join our team in Davenport, Iowa. This is a great opportunity for a highly qualified Truck or Trailer Sales Professional, who based upon relationships built, can bring a book of business with them, as well as step into a territory with existing accounts. There is also great potential for new accounts.

Responsibilities include:

• Build strong relationships with current accounts and serve as a single point of contact
• Develop relationships and secure accounts from dormant accounts and non-customers
• Build relationships and collaborate with equipment/rental sales representatives for cross selling
• Maximize revenue in assigned territory
• Proactively monitor market conditions, new products, and competitors
• Utilize CRM and other tools
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications include:

• Very specific experience in the Transportation industry such as a Truck or Trailer Sales Rep, Truck or Heavy Equipment Sales Rep. Two years of this specific experience is required while three years is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Outstanding relationship-building and customer service skills
• Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft products
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
