We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated, and experienced Truck or Trailer Sales Professional to join our team in Davenport, Iowa. The position has uncapped earning potential. This is a great opportunity for a highly qualified Truck or Trailer Sales Professional, who based upon relationships built, can bring a book of business with them, as well as step into a territory with existing accounts. There is also great potential for new accounts.
Responsibilities include:
- Build strong relationships with current accounts and serve as a single point of contact
- Develop relationships and secure accounts from dormant accounts and non-customers
- Build relationships and collaborate with equipment/rental sales representatives for cross selling
- Maximize revenue in assigned territory
- Proactively monitor market conditions, new products, and competitors
- Utilize CRM and other tools
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications include:
- Very specific experience in the Transportation industry such as a Truck or Trailer Sales Rep, Truck or Heavy Equipment Sales Rep. Two years of this specific experience is required while three years is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Outstanding relationship-building and customer service skills
- Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft products
- Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
