***Parts Counterperson Job Responsibilities***

• Assist service technicians and customers with identifying and
  
  

supplying parts

• Process retail, internal, and wholesale parts transactions
  
  

accurately

• Use electronic parts catalogs and dealership systems to locate
  
  

correct parts

• Order parts, manage special orders, and track backorders
• Prepare and document invoices, repair orders, and parts transactions
• Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding parts
  
  

availability

• Maintain inventory accuracy through stocking, binning, and
  
  

organization

• Keep the parts counter and work areas clean and organized
• Follow dealership, manufacturer, and parts department procedures
