Jim Bass Collision Manager

Jim Bass Collision is seeking an experienced and highly organized Auto Body Shop Manager to lead our collision repair shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the auto body industry with a minimum of 5 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily collision center operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Hire, train, and supervise technicians, painters, and support staff.
• Manage workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet deadlines.
• Communicate with customers, insurance companies, and vendors to ensure a smooth repair process.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates and maintain profitability.
• Manage inventory, parts, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and maintain strong satisfaction.
• Track performance and provide reports to management.
• Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred).
• Proven experience in auto body repair and management.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of repair processes and estimating.
• Experience with systems like CCC ONE.
• I-CAR and/or ASE certification a plus.

• Compensation is structured on a base salary plus Commission and Year End Bonus, with total Pay Range around $100,000 or more, commensurate with experience and performance.
