We are seeking an enthusiastic and encouraging tutor to work with students in grades 6-12, helping them gain confidence and achieve academic success. The ideal candidate will provide motivational support while assisting with various subjects.Requirements:
- Education: A college degree is required. A degree in education or special education is preferred but not necessary.
- Experience: Previous tutoring or teaching experience with middle and high school students is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong subject matter knowledge relevant to grades 6-12 curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to motivate students and foster a positive learning environment.
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs.

- Availability: Flexible hours, including daytime, after-school and potential weekend sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in agreed-upon subjects.
- Develop personalized learning strategies to address individual student weaknesses.
- Help students build self-esteem and a positive attitude towards learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to update them on student progress.
- Maintain a supportive and engaging atmosphere during all sessions.
