What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jiffy Trip Food Service Manager position at Jiffy Trip?
Food Service Managers are responsible for managing department inventory, in-stock position, Quality Assurance, merchandising, and other operational processes of food service to company standards. The employee must follow the Company sales and production planning standards and will ensure that the Food Service Department achieves the standards of performance as outlined in the work plan. The employee will plan and order according to work plan and standards to maximize sales and gross profit. Food Service Managers will ensure all new department employees receive proper training and supervision and will ensure correct ordering, receiving, inventory, unloading, storage and rotation of merchandise and building of displays. This position reports to the Store Manager or Store Assistant Manager and may be required to perform other duties within the Convenience Store.
Employee must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED. Employee will be required to lift product or equipment up to 50 pounds. At least 3 years' experience in Food Service operations preferred.
Expected shift is the morning shift, 4 AM to 1 PM.
