Duties
- Perform tire services such as mounting, balancing, rotation, and repair to ensure optimal vehicle safety and performance
- Conduct oil changes and automotive fluid replacements accurately and efficiently
- Assist with minor mechanical repairs including brake inspections, belt replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete vehicle maintenance procedures with precision
- Diagnose basic automotive issues using standard diagnostic tools and techniques
- Support vehicle alignment procedures to improve handling and tire longevity
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with team members to ensure quality workmanship
Skills
- Prior dealership or automotive service experience highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars and basic automotive systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment
- Experience with automotive fluid replacement, oil changes, tire service, and minor mechanical repairs
- Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely and confidently
- Excellent customer service skills to assist clients professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards, vehicle maintenance procedures, and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical instructions accurately
