Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems using schematics, blueprints, and testing instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and high-voltage electrical systems.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule preventive maintenance tasks.
- Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to identify issues and implement effective repair strategies.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical systems and perform electrical diagnostics to resolve issues efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring proper operation through analysis of system performance.
- Execute welding tasks using welding techniques when necessary for equipment repair or fabrication projects.
- Assist in technical sales activities by providing expert advice on equipment specifications and maintenance solutions to clients or internal teams.
- Follow safety guidelines diligently during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries in the manufacturing facility.
Skills
- Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with a solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
- Proficiency with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial mechanics, equipment troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Skilled in electrical diagnostics including low voltage and high voltage systems; familiar with electrical blueprint reading and schematics.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, schematics analyzers, and other diagnostic tools effectively.
- Knowledge of welding standards for fabricating or repairing equipment components.
- Experience with industrial electrician tasks involving analysis skills for complex electrical problems; familiarity with schematics is essential.
- Capable of troubleshooting pneumatic systems and analyzing circuit diagrams to identify faults quickly.
- Strong understanding of engineering troubleshooting methods combined with practical equipment repair skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration within teams.
