Customer service Advisor

Job Summary

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
• Provide detailed explanations of repair options, estimates, and service procedures using estimating software
• Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, brake repairs, and transmission diagnostics to maximize customer value
• Coordinate with technicians to facilitate efficient vehicle repairs and ensure quality standards are met
• Manage customer appointments, service write-ups, and follow-up communications to enhance customer satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely
• Maintain comprehensive records of service orders, estimates, and client interactions for future reference

Requirements

• Proven experience in dealership or automotive service environments with a focus on customer service
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and mechanical systems including transmissions, suspensions, air brakes, shocks & struts, and diesel engines
• Familiarity with auto estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools
• Strong communication skills to effectively explain technical issues to customers with varying levels of automotive knowledge
• Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in auto body repair or collision repair is highly desirable
• Sales experience within the automotive industry is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
