Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Technician role based in Lehi, UT. The Automotive Technician will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and tire inspections. This role also involves supporting basic automotive repair tasks, assisting with suspension inspections, and documenting services performed. The technician will interact with customers to explain recommended services, answer basic maintenance questions, and provide a clear overview of work completed. Daily responsibilities include following safety procedures, keeping the service bay clean and organized, using shop equipment properly, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet service and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to perform routine and preventive services safely and efficiently.
- Hands-on experience with Oil Changes and related fluid and filter services for a variety of vehicles.
- Basic Automotive Repair skills, including inspection and diagnosis of common issues under guidance or supervision.
- Familiarity with Suspension components and the ability to assist with inspections and basic service tasks.
- Ability to follow standardized procedures, safety guidelines, and manufacturer recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach when explaining services and answering questions.
- Capacity to stand, bend, and lift as required in an active shop environment.
