Role OverviewAs an Automotive Technician at Jiffy Lube, you are the engine of our service center. You’ll be responsible for performing our famous Jiffy Lube Signature Service® Oil Change and a variety of preventative maintenance services. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or looking to jumpstart your career in the automotive industry, we provide the training and environment to help you succeed.Key ResponsibilitiesService Execution: Perform oil changes, filter replacements, fluid exchanges (transmission, cooling, etc.), tire rotations, and light mechanical repairs.The "Signature" Touch: Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections (checking lights, wipers, tire pressure, and fluid levels) to ensure every car leaves safer than it arrived.Communication: Clearly explain service recommendations to customers based on manufacturer requirements—no "hard selling," just honest, expert advice.Shop Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bay area. Follow all environmental and OSHA regulations.Teamwork: Work closely with the Shop Manager and Guest Service Advisors to ensure vehicles move through the bays efficiently.What We’re Looking ForExperience: Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required.
