Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their service needs in a professional and energetic manner
• Process customer payments accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling cash, credit, and electronic transactions with precision
• Provide product demos and explain service options to customers, upselling additional services or accessories when appropriate
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, ensuring all merchandising displays are attractive and well-stocked
• Answer customer inquiries over the phone with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls or scheduling appointments as needed
• Conduct basic retail math calculations for transactions, discounts, or promotions to ensure accuracy
• Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising automotive products to maximize sales opportunities
• Support retail sales efforts by promoting products and services aligned with customer needs
• Uphold high standards of customer service by actively listening, communicating clearly, and resolving issues promptly
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient store operations and excellent customer experiences

Requirements

• Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently in bilingual settings (English and another language) is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling and transactions
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with a friendly attitude
• Experience in supervising or leading team members is advantageous but not required; leadership qualities are appreciated
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of automotive products or services is beneficial but not necessary; training will be provided
• Basic math skills for balancing cash drawers and processing transactions accurately
• Proven phone etiquette skills for professional communication over the phone
