What are the responsibilities and job description for the Car Wash Attendant position at Jiffy Lube SBM Corp?
The car wash attendant is tasked with performing the daily operational practices of running the car wash facility and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities & duties to include, but not limited to:
- Provide customers with speedy customer service while showing a sense of urgency. Be polite and available to address all customer concerns and handle them in a professional manner.
- Provide customers with information on the VIP PASSES.
- Maintain clean equipment, tools, supplies and work area. Keep vacuums unclogged, hoses hung properly, and trash cans emptied.
- Keep the entire property spotlessly clean and ensure everything is kept in the proper place and organized.
- Guide cars onto the track with a focused, pleasant and competent demeanor.
- Perform visual inspections of the condition of each vehicle prior to entering the tunnel.
- Follow quality and safety standards and practices to maintain a safe work environment. Report safety or maintenance issues to management.
- Be proficient with all policies and procedures and able to perform them daily as needed.
- Display a positive attitude with fellow co-workers
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.
- Able to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to sit, bend, squat, and hold various positions for long period of times.
- Must be able to stand/walk duration of shift.
- Must be able to work independently and sustain quality.
- Be able to maintain a positive attitude, speedy service and great work ethic under pressure.
- Customer Service orientated
- Must have knowledge in computer skills
- How to run a cash drawer
- Can lift at least 50lbs
- Willing and eager to learn new things
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $8.00 - $12.00 per hour
