Manager, Procurement Operations and Fulfillment
Role Purpose
This role oversees the end‑to‑end order fulfillment and procurement operations for designated product categories under Jiffy Lube International’s Master Product Supply Agreement. The position ensures seamless flow of goods, information, and financial transactions between franchisees, Jiffy Lube International (JLI), and vendors—delivering accuracy, reliability, and a consistently high‑quality franchisee experience.
The scope includes ordering, delivery, invoicing, payment, dispute resolution, pricing, rebates, forecasting, and vendor/franchisee coordination.
Key Responsibilities
End‑to‑End Order Fulfillment
Manage the full operational lifecycle for designated product categories:
- Franchisee places order with Jiffy Lube
- Jiffy Lube places order with vendor
- Vendor delivers products to franchisees.
- Vendor invoices JLI
- JLI invoices franchisee
- JLI collects payment from franchisees.
- JLI pays vendor.
Operational Leadership
- Establish and maintain order processing systems; ensure all stakeholders are properly trained.
- Lead the dispute resolution process, ensuring timely and fair outcomes.
- Manage pricing and rebate programs, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and franchisee understanding.
- Build and manage processes for rapid notification and resolution of order or delivery issues.
- Partners in contract negotiations with vendors and franchisees as new products/categories are added.
- Provide accurate forecasting inputs to vendors, including product slate changes, store network changes, and vendor‑managed inventory setup.
Supervisory Scope
- Directly supervise 3 team members at launch.
- Team size expected to grow as additional products/categories are brought under JLI procurement and fulfillment.
Financial Impact
- Responsible for ~$600K SG&A budget.
- Operational ownership of procurement activities under the Master Product Supply Agreement with SOPUS (~$300M annual spend).
- Oversight of fulfillment activities generating ~$400M in franchisee revenue and ~$100M in gross margin for Jiffy Lube International.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field).
Experience
- 10 years of experience in customer service, contracting & procurement, and/or supply chain management.
- 5 years of experience building and leading teams.
- Automotive industry familiarity is helpful but not required for candidates eager to learn.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong experience with EDI (configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting).
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Advanced data skills, including ERP systems and analytics tools.
