Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, supporting order fulfillment processes, and maintaining a safe and clean warehouse environment. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse.
- Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory levels, process shipments, and update stock records.
- Stock shelves and organize products systematically to optimize space utilization and facilitate quick retrieval.
- Prepare items for shipping by packaging products securely according to company standards.
- Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and ensuring proper documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 is advantageous.
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts and reach trucks is required.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes including picking, packing, and shipping procedures.
- Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is a plus but not mandatory.
